Biography
I am a retired educator and blessed to be married to someone who loves to travel! We have two adult children, a daughter-in-law, a 4 year old granddaughter, and a 2 year old grandson. We have two furry children at home who are the highlights of our daily lives.
Since 2009 I have been a Disney Vacation Club Member, a platinum Castaway Club Member, an Annual Passholder, and Disney Visa Card holder. I have enjoyed planning memorable trips for decades. We own at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Riviera, Vero Beach, and The Cabins at Fort Wilderness.
We love to cruise as a couple, with friends, and enjoy multigenerational family adventures. I have extensive knowledge of several cruise lines, sailings, local ports, etc.
We enjoy multigenerational travel on Disney Cruise Line and are Platinum Castaway Members. We have sailed on the Magic, Dream, Fantasy, and Wish out of New Orleans, Fort Lauderdale, and Port Canaveral.
In 2025 we have planned a summer Alaskan experience on the Wonder (Vancouver) and a fall adventure on the Destiny (Fort Lauderdale)! We have enjoyed Halloween and Christmas sailings and both of Disney's private islands, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
We enjoy sailing as a couple with our friends on 18+ only sailings with Virgin Voyages. I am a Gold First Mate (the highest level a TA can obtain) and I am personally a "deep blue extras" sailor (their highest sailing tier). We have enjoyed sailing on Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady, and Resilient Lady.
